TD-8968

TD-W8968 work as a wireless router, you should first connect a modem to LAN4/WAN port of TD-W8968
Step 1
Open the web browser and type the IP address of the device in the address bar (default is 192.168.1.1, you can check it on the bottom label of the device). Press Enter.

Step 2
Type the username and password in the login page, the default username and passwordare both admin. Click OK to log in to the device.
Step 3
Click Quick Setup on the left side:

The modem router supports three modes: ADSL Modem Router Mode, 3G Router Mode and Wireless Router Mode. ChooseWireless Router Mode and then click Next.

Step 5
Select connection type. Here we take Dynamic IP as an example. Click Next.

Step 6
3G backup function is disabled by default. Click Next to skip to the next step

Note: 3G can be set as a backup connection method if your current connection is unavailable.You can enable 3G backup function if needed and plug the 3G modem into the USB port of your modem router
Step 7
If you want to connect to it via wireless, select Enable Wireless and set up your wireless network:

SSID: Create your wireless network name.
Wireless Security: Choose Disable Security to leave it unsecured or WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK(Recommended) to secure your wireless network and create your password in the Password box.
Step 8
Click Save to save the settings.

Step 9
Click Reboot.
